William F. O'Connor, Jr.

WILLIAM F. O’CONNOR, JR. is a graduate of Villanova University, where he was a member of the men’s lacrosse team, and Rutgers University School of Law - Newark.  Upon graduating from law school, he was a law clerk to the Honorable Douglas T. Hague, Superior Court of New Jersey. Mr. O’Connor is admitted to practice in New Jersey, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. O’Connor concentrates his practice in the areas of complex commercial litigation and the defense of professional liability actions.  He has extensive experience handling corporate dissolutions, partnership litigation, law firm breakups, conflicts between franchisees and franchisors, Uniform Commercial Code matters, ethics proceedings, contract disputes, unfair competition claims, breach of fiduciary duty cases, and class actions.  He has tried multiple cases to conclusion in both the state and federal courts. Mr. O’Connor is a member of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey, the Essex County Bar Association, and the New Jersey State Bar Association.  He has also served as a voluntary mediator as part of the Essex County Chancery Division’s Early Settlement Program.  Mr. O'Connor is a Practice Group Manager of the Firm's Commercial Litigation Practice Group.

Mr. O’Connor currently serves on the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy, which is the oldest professional licensing board in the State of New Jersey.
