Vani Nayyar
VANI NAYYAR is an Associate in the Firm’s Construction, Fidelity & Surety Practice Group.
Ms. Nayyar focuses her practice on construction law, surety and fidelity coverage litigation, commercial litigation and commercial transactions. She represents sureties, fidelity companies, general contractors and subcontractors handling complex commercial matters involving contract disputes, construction defaults, design disputes, and surety and fidelity bond claims.
Ms. Nayyar is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the State of New York. She received her B.A. from Stony Brook University and her J.D. from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University where she competed in the Energy and Sustainability Moot Court Competition.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Nayyar was employed as an assistant general counsel at a city government agency. There she worked on various types of public procurements and performed contract review and drafting of design-bid-build contracts, design-build contracts, construction manager at risk contracts and engineering services contracts.
