Richard J. Lechette
RICHARD J. LECHETTE focuses his practice on complex litigation matters that involve commercial and banking disputes, fraud, collection matters, and toxic torts. He has represented both companies and individual persons, as plaintiffs and defendants. Mr. Lechette regularly represents insurance companies in subrogation matters in relation to employee dishonesty policies. He has experience in personal injury matters, representing both plaintiffs and defendants, as well as professional liability matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lechette served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Mary C. Siracusa, J.S.C. in the New Jersey Superior Court, Law Division. During his tenure as a law clerk, Mr. Lechette also served as a mediator for civil cases pending in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Special Civil Part.
Mr. Lechette received his Juris Doctorate from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2018. He also graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology in 2015.
During law school, Mr. Lechette served as the Online Managing Editor of the Temple Law Review. His comment, “Philadelphia’s Soda Tax: Why It Fails the Test of Uniformity” was published in Volume 90 of the Law Review. He also served as a legal intern for the City of Philadelphia Law Department and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
