Kevin M. Eppinger
KEVIN M. EPPINGER is Of Counsel in the Firm’s Labor & Employment Practice. He concentrates his practice in the areas of employment discrimination litigation matters between employees and their former public sector employers including school boards and public libraries venued in state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York.
He represents public school districts in various discrimination matters brought by former employees, including, claims for the New Jersey Law Against, Discrimination, the New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act, violation of due process under the New Jersey Constitution, the New Jersey Wage and Hour law, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Mr. Eppinger has also represented public school districts in claims brought by current and former students for alleged violations of Title IX, the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination and the New Jersey Child Sexual Abuse Act.
Mr. Eppinger obtained summary judgment for a New Jersey public library in claims brought by a former employee for alleged violations of the New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act and the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination. Mr. Eppinger also obtained summary judgment for a New Jersey public school district in a matter brought by a former student for violations of the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination and the New Jersey Child Sexual Abuse Act.
Mr. Eppinger is a member of both the New Jersey and New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Eppinger is admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey and New York, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of New York. Mr. Eppinger has been admitted pro hac vice in state and federal courts located throughout the country, including California, Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
Mr. Eppinger received his B.A. from Rutgers College, his M.S.E. from Rutgers University School of Education, and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.
