Elliot Rothstein

Overview

ELLIOT ROTHSTEIN is admitted to the bars of the State of New York, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the District of Columbia. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Rothstein served as the Chief Legal Officer of IDT Corporation, a multinational publicly traded telecommunications and energy company. Mr. Rothstein also served as IDT Corporation’s senior litigation counsel. Before going in-house, Mr. Rothstein was an associate in the general litigation department of Skadden, Arps, Slate Meagher & Flom LLP in New York from September 1996 to January 2006. Mr. Rothstein practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation and class action defense.

Over the years, Mr. Rothstein has represented clients in federal court, state court, in domestic and international arbitrations and in front of federal regulators on a broad range of complex and high stakes matters, including: business disputes, patent disputes, class action defense, prosecution and defense of unfair competition claims, securities-related claims, employment claims, telecom regulatory issues, tax disputes and entertainment-related disputes.

Mr. Rothstein earned his Juris Doctor's degree, summa cum laude, from Western New England College School of Law in 1996 and his Bachelor's degree from McGill University in 1990.
