Brigid R. Buckley
BRIGID R. BUCKLEY is an Associate in the Firm’s Construction, Fidelity & Surety Practice Group. Ms. Buckley concentrates her practice on construction law, surety and fidelity coverage litigation, commercial litigation and commercial transactions.
Prior to joining McElroy Deutsch, Ms. Buckley worked in-house for a large tech company where she developed a comprehensive skill set in drafting, negotiating, and executing a variety of complex contracts, including SaaS, SOW, Master Service Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, and NDAs. She successfully led contract negotiations and served as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout the contract negotiation process. Additionally, Ms. Buckley managed M&A transactions, ensuring seamless integration and compliance. While in law school, Ms. Buckley worked full-time as a Labor & Employment Paralegal at Hunton Andrews Kurth where she focused heavily on corporate immigration.
Ms. Buckley received her B.A. in 2019 from Lesley University and her J.D. in 2024 from The George Washington University Law School. While in law school, she was active in the Jacob Burns Community Legal Clinics and a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and Lambda Legal.
In her free time, Ms. Buckley enjoys golf, karate, and family visits in her hometown of Foxborough, MA. She has two cats, Rue and Winnie, who love to travel around the US with her.
Ms. Buckley is admitted to practice in the State of Maryland and is pending admission in the State of Florida.
